Summertime Blues – Eddie Cochran
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Written by: Cochran/Capeheart
Originally a non-album single (1958), after Cochran's death included on
"The Eddie Cochran Memorial Album" (1960)
Tabbed by: maguri
Tuning: Standard
capo: 2nd fret
play: D
key: E
For chords in original key transpose +2
On the studio recording the idiosyncratic chord riff is played on
an acoustic guitar. It is played in D-shapes but the key is E major,
so probably a capo 2nd fret is used.
Chords in [ brackets ]: no chords, just bass guitar; suggestion: hit the
chord on the 1 there but then mute the strings there with your left hand
and strum with your right to create a “rhythm track”.
